An opportunity has arisen for OT post in Ealing’s In-house Reablement Service.

The new approach will focus on improving outcomes for adults and equip occupational therapist to work in a strength-based way, centred around a conversation which identifies an individual’s strength as the starting point, to seek the least restrictive options first.


We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, innovative and experienced or newly qualified occupational therapist to join our Reablement team in the Adult services at Ealing council. The team consist of Team Leaders, Social Workers, Back Office Staff and Carers. Successful candidates will be provided with a structured induction and regular supervision. There will be an opportunity or develop new skills and also embark on clear career pathway.  You will have strong commitment to high standards of professional practice and developing skill sets within teams.


Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate expertise in problem solving and to maintain robust relationships with other colleagues in social care like the social workers, health staff in integrated teams, housing and third sector professionals. 


This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role.  This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
