Role Purpose

As an Officer with delegated authority, use accredited specialist multi-faceted skills and techniques to carry out a programme of proactive and reactive functions which will contribute to enforcing health and safety, event management, special treatment licensing, investigating accidents and service requests etc.

Key Responsibilities

Using delegated powers and specialist skills (i.e. audit, inspection, enforcement powers, negotiation, and persuasion) to gain and ensure compliance with safety legislation so that the standards of safety are maintained and enhanced for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in enforcing health and safety legislation.

To have a driving licence and provide a car for work purposes.
