Senior Enforcement Support Manger SO2

We’re looking to recruit a permanent Senior Enforcement Support Manager to support the Council’s Private Sector Housing enforcement and licensing functions.
Waltham Forest is designated as a Selective Licensing and Additional Licensing area and was one of the first Councils to adopt and use powers to impose financial penalties as an alternative to prosecution proceedings.
The appointed Support Manager will support the management of accurate enforcement records, including records of payments, monitoring charges levied and refer to legal for debt management. To complete tasks and activities in relation to the strong enforcement ethic of the Private Sector Housing & Licensing Team within the Resident Services Directorate.
Displaying excellent verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility in working patterns and practices. Successful candidates will play a central role in the delivery of licensing objectives and will also have management responsibility for a team of Assistants.
