Duty Operations Assistant
Reporting to the Community Properties Supervisor, the Duty Operations Assistant will work in an operational capacity to ensure the smooth running of the PCF Community Hubs and support the operations of PCF Community Properties across London. The Duty Operations post is a multifunctional role concerned with all operational functions falling within PCF remit for the successful running of the community hub portfolio. This includes but is not limited to; being a friendly face while fulfilling front of house reception duties; provision of administrative support- including bookings, finance and data input; carrying out basic compliance functions; room set-up/down; reporting of repairs & cleaning where required. In some buildings the DOA role will also include supporting bar/catering functions.
S/he plays an important role in bringing to life the PCF spaces that enable community members to come together and play a pivotal role in the provision of services in local areas. The postholder will be comfortable effectively communicating residents and the broader community and be passionate about supporting community activity and the most disadvantaged.
The Duty Operations Assistant role is not fixed to single location. DOA’s will usually be situated at a single site but may be required to work at any PCF Hub, subject to requirements. You will be located in Thamesmead and London area.
Please note this is an annualised contract and you will be guaranteed 500 hours per annum.
This role is across multiple sites and will require travelling across London, access to transport links or own transport would be necessary.
