What you need to know
This is truly an exciting time to join us as THCH’s newly formed executive team is on the brink of forming our new corporate strategy and there is momentum to improve resident satisfaction with our homes and services.

Like any good employer, we have an agile working model – however we do see presence in the locality and the business as an important part of the role, so would expect the postholders to work in a hybrid way between home and the office.
The Role
Key to our journey is delivering investment to our homes and ensuring 100% compliance at all times.
You will be responsible for ensuring effective data management systems, policies, processes and programmes of work are in place, including ensuring that THCH asset management systems are fully utilised and kept up to date.
What you need to have
- Extensive experience in delivering planned maintenance and compliance
- Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent building & surveying discipline qualified to RICS or CIOB standard, or qualified by experience
- Excellent and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, procedures and good practice relevant to the post
- Good knowledge of contracts and contract Management including knowledge of building contracts such as JCT
- A thorough knowledge of the Building Regulations, housing and leasehold legislation and statutory requirements.
- A working knowledge of the Construction Design & Management Regulations and all other primary Health & Safety Regulations relating to maintenance and construction works.
- Ability to commission and assess specialist reports
- Proven experience of working and negotiating with contractors, contract management and monitoring performance
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Experienced in managing and motivating and leading a team
- Good IT skills
- Proven budget management skills
- Able to lead on the delivery of a customer-focused service with proven experience of bringing continuous improvement to a service
- Able to travel efficiently across the THCH stock and attend evening meetings
