Senior Financial Analyst
What you'll do
If you are a commercially minded financial analyst or real-estate professional with solid investment appraisal skills and desire to deliver social value, then apply for the Senior Financial Analyst role at Optivo, a first-class Housing Association.
We are looking for a skilled transaction appraiser who will report to the Deputy Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and be responsible for managing a Financial Analyst.
You will lead on the review of new real estate investment proposals, as well as proposed disposals and tenure conversions.
In doing so you will appraise the financial risks and returns, making constructive proposals on accounting, tax, economic and commercial terms to fit our appetite.
You will also gain exposure across a range of strategic activities including monitoring of the development programme, cash flow forecasting and external reporting.
What you’ll need
- 2:1 at degree level
- Accounting, finance or similar professional qualification (such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CF, ACT, ACIB) completed
- Experience using tools / systems: investment appraisal (essential); cashflow monitoring (desirable)
- Knowledge of (a) residential property development or (b) UK social housing is desirable
