Health Analyst
The BI service’s mission is to use the Council’s data in collaborative and imaginative ways so that insight and intelligence is at the heart of how the Council operates and improves services to residents.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 there has been several new public health workstreams that require analytical support for the duration of the pandemic. These include supporting the local contact tracing team, trend analysis of cases and up take of vaccination programmes. We are looking for 2 analysts to join the team to further support the Council's response to the pandemic.

Role Responsibilities:

Key Role Responsibilities
- Contact Tracing – support the Council in ensuring the operation of an effective Contact Tracing system.
- Covid-19 Cases & Contact Tracing – provide monitoring reports and updates to the Covid-19 Strategic Leadership Team.
- Covid-19 Testing – support the monitoring of testing within the Borough. Providing timely reports to stakeholders and ensuring any anomalies are quickly escalated.
- Covid-19 Analysis – provide wider analytical support on Covid-19 and any reporting required back to Regional or National bodies.
- Vaccination Analysis – provide analysis on current vaccination uptake within the Borough
- Monitoring of care homes and other at-risk establishments – working alongside other Council employees ensure that effective systems are in place to prevent and control any outbreaks.
