Early Years Practitioner- Additional Needs Support
Job introduction
We are looking for someone who enjoys being with children and is passionate about support them to succeed.
This is a new role to support two children with additional needs whilst at our nursery.
This post is suitable for someone unqualified or qualified. Enthusiasm, patience and empathy strongly required
The shift pattern for this role is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm term time only.
This role involves support one child in the morning 9am-12:45pm and another in the afternoon 1:15pm-5pm
Fixed term: This position is Term-time only and fixed term until the end of the 2021-22 school year. This could be extended depending on children staying on next the following year or new children starting needing support.

About the role
This role involves:
- supporting children to access all the resources, activities and opportunities within the nursery.
- building a relationship with parents and relaying information about the child's day.
-completing education plans provided by the SENCo.
-working with other professionals to improve outcomes for children such as speech and language therapists
-meeting the child's care needs

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
