The London Borough of Newham are seeking to recruit a School Crossing Patrol. The vacancy is in Plashet Road, E13 supporting the children of Selwyn Primary School.
The successful candidate will ensure the safety of pedestrians crossing the road at a designated point between specific times. You will have experience of working with children, a good understanding of the Highway Code, clear verbal communication skills and be reliable and punctual.
In addition, you must be fit enough to stand for long periods of time, be prepared to work in all weather conditions, have good eyesight and hearing and be confident to stop traffic.
Training and uniform will be provided.
