Autism Strategy and Employment Project Manager PO4
Project Manager
Bursting with culture, energy and opportunity, Waltham Forest is a place where people want to live, raise a family, and start a business. We do all we can to improve the lives of residents and maintain the borough’s reputation as an attractive place to visit and invest in. It’s also a fantastic place to work.
Waltham Forest Council is committed to reducing the inequalities that people face. The Council is developing an Employment Strategy that will focus on supporting people to prepare for, find, and retain employment. In addition, the Council has recently developed an All-Age Autism Strategy which aims to make Waltham Forest a more autism-friendly Borough. We are seeking a Project Manager to manage these two workstreams and related areas of work.
The post will sit within the Families Integrated Commissioning Team and report to the Integrated Commissioning Manager.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to form collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. You should have a positive and proactive approach to work and be able to drive your own progress and use initiative to achieve results.
We encourage applications from candidates from a range of backgrounds and experiences, but experience in employment or autism would be desirable.
