In support of this transformational growth programme, we seek a passionate Assistant Director for Public Realm who will lead exemplar practice across the services areas of highways, parking, cleansing, waste, recycling, parks and open spaces. Leading a growing team of varied technical experts, you will provide a blend of operational and strategic leadership across all of our Public Realm services, accelerating various programmes of change across the Council’s highways and environment portfolio, leading on the modernisation of services through digital automation.
You’ll ensure the services to our 250,00 residents are high quality, cost effective and accessible, all whilst delivering our commitment to be a cleaner, greener, safer and more inclusive Havering.
