We are looking to recruit a number of Waking Nights Care Crew bank staff to join our team across our Learning Disability services.
The hourly salary is £10.01 (time and a half for working at weekends, double time for working on a bank holiday or time and a third for working at night (between 8pm and 6 am))and with our external benefits provider you can get discounts with high street retailers such as Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, Argos and Boots as well as cinemas, local attractions and holiday companies via our external benefits provider.

About the role
We aim to provide empowering care which supports service users to live fulfilling lives, maintaining / regaining life skills and independence. We are looking for people who are motivated to support service users in this way and who are comfortable supporting people with personal care, and have good communication skills to build positive relationships with service users, their families and other professionals.
If you enjoy helping people and want to make a difference to their lives, and you feel you have the skills required, we would very much like to hear from you.
You will be very well supported in your role through supervision and training. Training covers a range of courses include manual handling, food hygiene, infection control and more specialised courses where appropriate.
We welcome applications from those with no prior experience in social care. Working as a Care Crew worker gives flexibility to work around you daily life. Shifts include earlies, lates, weekends and nights.

Role working in a CQC Setting
Regulations now require all staff who undertake work within CQC registered care homes to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19, unless they satisfy one of the medical/legal exemptions. Being fully vaccinated or being medically/legally exempt will be a condition of your employment and you will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status or medical/legal exemption as part of the recruitment process for this role
Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
