About the role

We are seeking a committed, hard-working and dynamic individual to work as part of the Learning and Development Team. We are mainly working from home right now and are able to offer flexible working arrangements to suit your circumstances on an ongoing basis, as well as safe office accommodation if needed.

You will be the main lead in the team for managing, commissioning and evaluating Brighton & Hove City Council’s health and safety training programme. Working with a small team of administrators and the wider team your role will be to ensure we deliver an appropriate and effective programme of events and elearning to support council services, schools and partner organisations across the city.

As part of the team you will have a key role in providing excellent customer service working with a variety of customers and training providers within the Council and across the city. We will provide full training, so practical experience along with a willingness to learn, a good eye for detail, good IT skills, a positive attitude and a desire to provide an excellent service is essential. You will be working with others as part of a team and liaising directly with our customers and partners so excellent communication skills are important.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
