Chief Information Officer
The role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a brand-new role at Notting Hill Genesis, reflecting the critical importance of digital, data and new technologies at this stage in our organisation’s development.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will have overall responsibility for all aspects of our information technology strategy, its integration with our corporate strategy and the delivery of all information and technology capabilities required to support business capabilities and priorities.
You will head up a new team comprising more than 120 colleagues across four departments, each led by a CIO director: Programme Management, Digital Technology, Information Technology & Security, and Data & Analytics.
We are committed to digitally transforming services for both residents and colleagues. Our in-house digital platform (Workwise) has made key business processes available to residents and colleagues online.
Future plans include moving completely to the cloud by 2022, reducing our carbon footprint and embracing the power of data and cloud technology to better serve our residents and colleagues; and exploring how to commercialise and productise our sector-leading technology.
About Notting Hill Genesis
Notting Hill Genesis is a hugely diverse organisation with all kinds of jobs for all kinds of people. But everyone shares something essential. It brings us together, drives us forward and helps us be the best we can. What is it? It’s a passion for what we do.
As one of the largest housing associations in London, we provide homes for lower-income households. By building and maintaining quality homes, we create diverse and thriving communities.
We are proud signatories of the G15 group’s diversity pledge to encourage more diversity in the boardroom and at senior level. The pledge on Black, Asian and minority ethnic diversity commits us to reflect the ethnic diversity of the communities we work in at all levels and particularly at senior managerial, leadership and board levels.
About you
We are interested in hearing from leaders at different stages of their careers and from a range of markets. You will need to be capable of being a strategic business leader, able to reimagine the role of technology across our organisation, reinvent how that technology is delivered, and future-proof the existing capability, all with a strong customer-centricity to ensure we provide an excellent experience for our residents.
We recognise and celebrate the contribution that a diverse workforce makes to the company’s success. High levels of diversity bring varied insights, ideas and drive improved competitive advantage.
