Head of Allocations, Lettings and Income Collection
Croydon is a borough on a transformation journey. The Council’s financial problems have been well publicised, but we have made substantial progress towards balancing the books, with a clear financial strategy in place for the next three years.
We are also committed to drastically improving housing for our residents. Following an independent report earlier this year, a new Housing Directorate has been formed, a Housing Improvement Plan put in place and a Housing Improvement Board is being set up to monitor and oversee our improvement journey. A lot of work has already taken place, but there is a lot still to do and putting the residents’ voice at the heart of this work is absolutely key.

The Head of Service will lead on our choice based lettings system and income collection. Reviewing our current allocations policies will be a priority for this role along with ensuring we have a flexible yet fair approach.
