Public Space Project Officer
Merton’s vision is to be London’s Best Council. Providing outstanding services for our residents and visitors, promoting the borough’s parks and green spaces is of key importance in meeting this vision.
To help us achieve these aims, you will work as part of a team and lead on the delivery of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and other associated grant funded projects within the Council’s parks & greenspaces department.. The post will be integral in ensuring the delivery of projects within a defined period, being able to solve complex project related operational and business issues through the practical implementation of systems and processes
This is a new role within the division and you will bring a passion to work collaboratively within the wider Public Space team and our service provider partnerships. You will be highly customer-focused, with exceptional stakeholder management skills and the capability to regularly interact with residents and elected members. While also being experience in the successful delivery of high-profile capital funded projects is essential.
