The London Borough of Redbridge is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated commissioner to join the Strategic Social Care Commissioning Team.

 

As a Strategic Commissioning Officer, you will work collaboratively with other strategic officers and health and social care teams, partner agencies, providers and young people and their families.

 

This role will involve leading on service re-design and commissioning high-quality outcome focused care and health services for children, young people and their families that offer best value and are based on identified local need and in line with national and locally agreed strategic priorities.

 

You will lead on strategic projects relating to children and young people and their families and will have a particular focus on joint commissioning across children’s social care.

 

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of social care in relation to children and young people, be proactive and passionate, ensuring the best outcomes are achieved for the children and young people in Redbridge. You will have the ability to think strategically, demonstrating strong communication skills and creative thinking.
