Cleaner (Facilities Support Role A)
Job introduction
The Governors wish to appoint a flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our friendly and welcoming team as a cleaner.
Paid weeks per year: 52
Monday to Friday, 3.15pm - 5.45pm
NJC Scale 1/2 (£9.50 - £9.81 per hour)
Start date: As soon as possible
About the role
The successful candidate will be committed to creating a clean and safe learning environment for our pupils and the people around them, undertaking a variety of cleaning duties and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets.
A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable.
You will have:
- High expectations and cleaning standards.
- An awareness of basic health and safety principles.
- The ability to work flexibly and pro-actively according to the needs of the school during your working hours. You will be required to work during the school holidays.
