Job introduction
City Academy Whitehawk is a vibrant primary school with pupils from age 3 to 11 years. We are looking for an administrator to join our dedicated office team.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of customer service with excellent organisational and time management skills. As a point of contact for parents and visitors, we are looking for a good communicator with both adults and children alike.
About the role
Responsible for the administration of a variety of HR and Finance tasks, the successful applicant will be required to provide general clerical and administration support to the School Business Manager. This will include – completion of statutory returns, administration of staff records, administration of health and safety records and policies, the ordering of goods and services, receiving deliveries and processing invoices. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is essential; knowledge of PS Financials, Arbor and Parentpay is desirable. As part of the office team, you will be required to cover the Reception desk in the absence of other colleagues and to administer first aid to children and adults (training will be given if necessary).
City Academy Whitehawk is a dynamic environment so flexibility and willingness to undertake tasks at short notice will be key. Working hours for the role are 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only, with a requirement to work an additional 10 days over the year during school holidays.
