School Crossing Patrol Officer

This a permanent, part-time position for 10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time) 
Scale 1 (£20,658.00) pro rata

The London Borough of Newham are seeking to recuit a School Crossing Patrol. The vacancy is in Plashet Road, E13 supporting the children of Selwyn and St.Anthony's Primary Schools.

The post holder will ensure the safety of children crossing the road at a designated point between specified times. You will have experience of working with children, a good understanding of the Highway Code, clear verbal communciation skills and be reliable and punctual.

In addition, you must be fit enough to stand for long periods of time,be prepared to work in all weather conditions, have good eyesight and hearing and be confident to stop traffic.

Training and uniform will be provided.
