Year Leader
We wish to appoint a Year Leader to work one day a week on a Thursday as part of a job share arrangement. This post is offered on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2022.
The post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of a designated year group, and be assigned to Year 11 for this academic year. You will work with teachers, the Pastoral Team and the Headship Team to ensure high standards of attendance, achievement and behaviour.
You will share our ethos that disadvantage need not be a barrier to academic achievement and success for all.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have experience of working with children and young people and demonstrate a commitment to student progress and achievement. You will have excellent behaviour management, interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be a self-motivated team player, able to use your own initiative and have a commitment to the school’s ethos, aims and its whole community. You will also need to work effectively with your job share partner.
Salary: Scale SO2 (point 27 - 29) £34,689 - £35,949 pro-rata
Hours: 7 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time only plus 5 INSET days)
