We are currently seeking to appoint an Admin Officer term time only. Ideally the candidate will have the experience of working in a school setting. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic environment. This would be ideal for an individual who has excellent organisational skills, can work to deadlines and manage their own workload whilst being part of a team.
The Role
We are looking to recruit an Administrator. To be responsible for all areas of administration to assist the Hawkswood Group, hence this is a varied role.
Responsibilities
- Front line service to the school
- To assist with the administration and clerical processes relating to staff recruitment and other staff changes to include medical clearance and criminal record checks as required;
- Order, monitor and manage stock within an agreed budget using established school systems.
- Complete and submit complex forms, returns etc., including those to outside agencies e.g. DFE.
- Contribute to the planning, development and organisation of support service systems/procedures/policies.
- Assist in the organisation of school trips/events etc in co-operation with other staff. Ensure that staff and external providers (e.g. coach companies) have completed all associated risk assessments
- Proven track record as an individual who is able to deliver effectively and on time.
- Exposure to and an understanding of office environments.
- Assisting to manage multiple tasks simultaneously from start to finish.
- Excellent problem solving, organisational and progress control skills are essential.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- A good working knowledge of SIMs software’s to include Microsoft Office and

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
