Senior Media Relations Officer
SENIOR MEDIA RELATIONS OFFICER, Grade 14 (£45,576 - £47,661)
Are you an experienced, enthusiastic and organised press and communications officer looking for a job where you can really make a difference? Would you like the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-profile role where no two days are the same? If so we'd love to hear from you!
We need two media relations professionals with tons of energy to join our busy team where you will lead on media handling (proactive and reactive), deal with regional and national journalists daily and engage with the public via our digital channels. These are high-profile roles and an opportunity to be part of one of the most exciting and challenging projects in local government today.
The work is fast-paced; the challenges are real, but so are the opportunities and our determination to succeed. We need people who are experienced, highly-skilled, hard-working and creative but most importantly, you need to really care about our borough – you’ll be joining a passionate and committed team who certainly do.
*Please note these are full-time permanent posts but we would also consider short-term secondments for up to six months for the right candidate.
