We now need an exceptional Schemes Manager to further our ambitions for a cleaner, safer, prouder borough that works together with our residents.
About the role
As a Schemes Manager, you will provide the technical expertise for the development, design and implementation of traffic and parking schemes across the borough in an effective and efficient manner. The design of schemes must be in accordance with the legislative requirements and consideration of neighbouring boroughs to achieve harmonisation where possible. You will lead a dedicated team and manage a defined budget ensuring a quality service is delivered at all times.
About you
You will bring a proven track record of scheme design and implementation within local government and particularly within Highway, Traffic and Parking environment. You will also bring your experience of managing capital and revenue budgets to ensure delivery remains on track and to a high standard.
In addition to the technical requirements of this role you will be a great team player, able to build relationships and trust, take responsibility and have an attitude that’s consistent with our progressive, hardworking and collaborative team.
