We now need an exceptional Highways Maintenance Manager to further our ambitions for a cleaner, safer, prouder borough that works together with our residents.
About the role
As Highways Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the management of resources and assets in our Highways Service Unit and to ensure that an efficient, cost-effective and professional service is provided to all clients. You will lead a dedicated team and manage a defined budget ensuring a quality service is delivered at all times.
About you
You will bring a proven track record of managing a highway maintenance portfolio providing leadership and drive to your team. Excellent experience of managing large capital and revenue budgets is required as is demonstrable experience in managing complex projects and programmes.
In addition to the technical requirements of this role you will be a great team player, able to build relationships and trust, take responsibility and have an attitude that’s consistent with our progressive, hardworking and collaborative team.
