Westdene is an inclusive and popular primary school situated to the north of the city. The school is seeking to appoint a well organised, efficient Assistant Site Manager to join our school to provide assistance around the school - this is a Facilities Support Level C role.

About the role
The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive and able to resolve facility issues, as well as having strong organisational skills. Duties will include being the first point of contact for matters regarding buildings, grounds, security and maintenance of the site, supporting parents/carers on and off the site and general cleaning duties as required. Good administration skills are also key to support the Business Manager in ensuring that Health & Safety duties and documentation are observed and up to date. It is preferable that the successful applicant will have a good range of skills and experience including a good level of building maintenance, ideally gained in a similar environment, together with general DIY skills for hands on repairs and maintenance. This is a busy and varied role so you will need to be flexible and practical in your approach, coupled with a good working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
