We have an opportunity for a full time, permanent Team Manager in our Floating Support service in London.
As a pro-active, assertive manager you will motivate and develop staff to provide excellent quality support to our customers with learning disabilities living in Lambeth, Greenwich and Southwark.
You will be a compassionate person with excellent communication skills; able to positively respond to and implement change and service improvement. You will build excellent partnerships with health and social care professionals and have an understanding of personal budget/spot purchase support arrangements and care act eligible activity. As a natural problem solver, you will identify and implement improvements to service delivery and coach a staff team to provide the high quality service required by our vulnerable customers in a challenging sector.
The service provides care act eligible support that aims to help customers live as independently as possible in the local community. Support covers things like budgeting, maintaining a tenancy, looking after homes; linking in with education, training or work and reducing isolation. This is alongside working closely with any other relevant services in the community.
