Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the City.

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Local London Work and Health Programme team.  The role will allow you to work closely with our delivery partner and the wider Local London Work and Health Programme team to ensure quality and compliance on the programme through monitoring activities, observations and training. You will be responsible for driving continuous quality improvement, enhancing the experience of our residents and supporting our provider to break down health and work-related barriers to support residents in to sustainable employment.

The outstanding candidate should have experience in preparing for audits, developing processes and driving quality on large programmes.  The role requires excellent partnership working and ability to pay attention to detail.

Local London is the sub-regional partnership of eight boroughs: Enfield, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Newham, Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Greenwich and Bexley. We also work with the London Borough of Bromley as an associate on several of our programmes, including on the Work and Health Programme

The Work and Health Programme continues to be a key component in our economic recovery plans; providing support to local residents who are long-term unemployed or have health conditions and/or disabilities to find and sustain jobs.
