We are looking for 2 part-time Quality Monitoring Support Officers [22 hours p/w – we can be flexible on how these hours are contracted] to join our small, committed team to support all contracted Adult Social Care providers across the city.  

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team with some scope for you to develop and shape the roles and systems used.

About the role

The Quality Monitoring Team is a creative, forward thinking team supporting all Adult Social Care contracted services, including services provided in-house, across the city. This covers all provider types and client groups including: domiciliary care, residential and nursing care, & supported living.  The team’s role is to monitor that good quality care is provided in services to keep people safe.

You will be involved in monitoring services through a variety of methods working alongside and supported by experienced colleagues.  You will be able to contribute to, and support on, the development and design of systems and processes for the team, with a particular focus on stakeholder feedback.

You will be supporting Commissioning Support Officers by triaging all information received by the team and maintaining existing quality systems. Additionally you will be working independently to request and analyse provider documentation and support the production of high quality reports.  You will be liaising directly with a range of professionals including: service providers, social care assessment teams, the Care Quality Commission [CQC] and local Clinical Commissioning Group [CCG].

We are looking for someone who is:

  • able to interrogate detailed information and make accurate recordings
  • able to communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal skills
  • creative and innovative

We will provide you with a comprehensive induction and regular supervisions. You will also have access to training and be supported with continuous professional development.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
