Job introduction

The Customer Service Team works within Parking Services and are the first point of contact for residents, businesses and visitors to the city regarding parking. The team deal with a fast workload, issuing a wide variety of parking permits.

About the role

This vacancy is for 1 x Team Leader to join the existing Team Leaders in operationally managing the team with support from the Customer Service Manager. You will need to be an experienced, professional and people focused manager with the ability to motivate the team to get the best results. You will lead and manage team members performance and development and organise workflows to ensure deadlines are met. Additional duties will include writing complaints responses, responding to Freedom of information requests and collation of data for management purposes.

You will need to be able to work independently but also play a leading part in the team's work and help them to manage pressure.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
