CALAT (Croydon Adult Learning and Training) is one of the largest providers of adult community education in London, and has developed a reputation for contributing to innovation across the sector and for its genuinely collaborative partnerships across Croydon.  

CALAT offers a wide range of courses and Apprenticeships to thousands of adults and families within the borough. The service is a dynamic and high quality adult education provider (Ofsted Inspection - Good) which plays a key role in improving the employment and skills for learners, many of whom are new to learning. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Skills for Life Team Manager to lead on the development of the Skills for Life curriculum areas within CALAT (English & Maths, ESOL and Family Learning).

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and highly motivated, creative individual.  They will be able to demonstrate significant leadership experience within the sector and share our values and have a passion for the role that adult learning can play within diverse communities.
