Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the City.

We have already introduced an integrated health and social care model, one of the most advanced in the country. The People Directorate are currently redesigning our adult social care, public health and children’s services, this is to deliver better outcomes and support people where needed the most.

Our programme of improvement and transformation for People is central to our aim to improve experiences for people residing in the borough.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Delivery transformation team to help deliver real excellence in operational delivery and to drive the improvement work across the People directorate.

As a Project Manager, you will ensure that allocated projects are completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone tasked within the project are completing their allocated tasks. You will oversee the projects to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.

You will be responsible for risk and issue management, Stakeholder engagement, planning and forecasting, business case creation, representing the transformation team, achieving set deliverables and ensuring benefits are realised.

You will be working closely with Council colleagues, Directors and Heads of Service and their teams across the Council and directorates, to support a programme of continuous organisational performance improvement which helps the Council achieve its ambition of becoming ‘One Brilliant Team’.

If you have the right skillsets we would welcome you at Redbridge.
