Job Title – Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
Hours – 35 hrs per week (8:00am to 4:00pm), term time only 39 weeks
Grade: Scale 5 £21,672 to £22,865 per annum
Contract Type –Permanent
The Thames Federation consists of one maintained primary school (Melcombe Primary) and two maintained nursery schools (Bayonne & James Lee) in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to work alongside our Senior Finance Officer. Bayonne Nursery is a successful and popular nursery school rated outstanding by Ofsted. Our school population represents a diverse community culturally and linguistically. You will be joining a team of professional practitioners who combine hard work and dedication with a sense of humour and fun. The successful candidate will:
- Have a professional and friendly manner as first point of contact for the school
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have excellent ICT skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and use of email and the internet
- Be able to keep admissions and pupil records up to date and use SIMs packages.
- Have excellent time management skills, be able to multi task and solve problems using own initiative
Experience of working in a school office or an administrative role is essential with a proven track record of communicating with a range of stakeholders.
