Research and Impact Officer
In Waltham Forest, residents are at the heart of everything we do. From shaping our response to the impact of COVID-19 to further improving the service offer to our parents and young children, the views of residents and users are fundamental.
This role sits within the wider Strategy, Design, Communities and Business Intelligence team. This team addresses key strategic challenges, radically transforms services and creates new and innovative ways of improving outcomes for residents.
This role and those sitting alongside it work to ensure Waltham Forest maximises the benefits of social research, data analysis, policy research, business analysis and service design methods. It works collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver transformational change and innovation.
The Research and Impact Officer role will support with a wide range of social research and evaluation work across a portfolio of strategy and change projects, ensuring projects benefit from high-quality insight into residents’ needs. This will be a fast-paced role within a dynamic and influential team where you will work across all Council services and activities.
We are looking for candidates with good experience of social research and evaluation methodologies ideally in a public sector context.
