We have an exciting job opportunity within Waltham Forest Services Ltd (the councils trading company) for a Programme Manager to join our innovative and forward-thinking Climate Emergency programme team.
The Programme Manager will support the planning, development and delivery of the Council’s Climate Emergency response, managing the delivery of programmes and co-ordinating multiple interrelated projects and workstreams. You will be required to build strategic, proactive relationships with senior officers and political members, as well as external partners and community organisations, to effectively implement the response to the Climate Emergency.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing Change programmes and projects, working to time, budget and quality in a large organisation using appropriate agile methodologies, techniques and tools. Experience of building excellent relationships and being able to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders is essential. We are also looking to find someone who is creative and innovative in finding solutions to complex problems, with a passion for the Climate Emergency field of work.
