We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our successful department. Science is a popular subject, students achieve GCSE results above the national average and the uptake of Triple Science is high (50% this year).
This post would be very suitable for an Early Career Teacher looking for their first appointment. ECTs are fully supported by an induction programme delivered by the school and the Ambition Institute.
Royal Liberty School is a small, comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys. We occupy a Grade II listed building on a very pleasant site. As part of the Priority Schools Building Programme and Local Authority expansion we have undergone a full refurbishment of the school, ready for September 2021.
As a result of the expansion we have enhanced our Science provision significantly. We now have six new science laboratories within the refurbished building. You will join a friendly team of 4 full time, two members of SLT and two technicians.
We are part of the Success for All Multi Academy Trust with Redden Court School and Sanders School. As an employee you will be covered by our excellent well-being support and medical cover programme through the School Advisory Service (SAS). We take a collaborative view of learning where good practice is shared through a structured INSET programme within school and across the Trust.
