An exciting opportunity to be an Early Help Projects' Co-ordinator
Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.
The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.
The Post
This post is being funded by the Mayor's Office, Young Londoners Fund. The post holder will be working with teams in Early Help and be an important link with partner agencies providing some of the services. Key aspects include setting up a steering group made up of partner’s agencies, developing data capture tools, capturing data from all agencies and facilitating the project monitoring process.
The Person
As the Projects' Coordinator, you will have an interest in services for young people and wanting to make a difference. You will be committed to excellent partnership work and be a skilful communicator with wide audiences. With a keen eye for detail, you will have strengths with IT, particularly setting up and managing databases and the ability to produce a variety of reports. You will be able to be able to work independently, show initiative and be part of a team.
