Job Level and Salary range: Level 6, Zone 1; £59,865 - £73,166 per annum
Work Location: 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG. (Currently Home working).

This role will lead the work of the Community Partnerships team to deliver the Council’s outcomes as set out in the Renewal Missions and the refreshed priorities for Camden 2025.
The role
This is an exciting and important role where you will use your wealth of experience to make a significant contribution to our work with the voluntary and community sector (VCS). You will have, an understanding of the strengths of the VCS and the public sector and, the skills needed to lead our strategic partnership and broker opportunities for development.
You will be responsible for delivering our grant programme and infrastructure support, community spaces programme and taking forward our digital project to enhance the sector’s response to meeting the needs of local people. Your understanding of neighbourhood working will add real value to our ambition to develop our libraries as community hubs, connecting with residents and community partners.
About you
The post holder will work flexibly across various functions to ensure the delivery of Camden 2025. You will have a proven track record in key areas including leading the strategic direction of the community partnership unit, overseeing community partnership projects, performance development and service improvement and delivery.
You will have excellent relationship management skills with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders including senior officers and cabinet members to deliver and embed the priorities of the role. You will be proficient in working alongside senior management teams; to support the leadership of the division, applying corporate and directorate strategic development, implementation, and monitoring.
To succeed, you will bring an oversight of financial management, contract management and funding models.
