Teaching Assistant (Level B)
Job introduction
We are looking for a TA with expertise and experience of working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities who is conscientious, flexible and empathetic. This role requires a positive and creative approach and an ability to problem solve independently. This post is to support students with either physical, medical or severe learning difficulties.
Paid weeks per year: Work 39, paid 47.15 inclusive of holiday entitlement
Start date: As soon as possible
About the role
Job Purpose
Working under instruction and guidance, provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
Promoting independence and supporting students in making progress in and out of the classroom.
Assist teachers in the management of pupils and the classroom.
