We are looking to permanently appoint a candidate who is motivated, forward thinking and with excellent communication and analytical skills.
As an Information, Advice and Guidance Officer your role will be to manage the development, management and maintenance of Newham Council’s adult social care and health web pages. In addition you will lead on putting in place change control procedures and dealing with change requests.
Also as part of the role you will identify and implement a range of initiatives and projects to continuously improve the content, accessibility and availability, ensuring the resource remains up to date and relevant.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of website content management systems, search engine optimisation as well as the ability to rapidly assimilate new IT systems. You will have a good understanding of the current and future challenges and national changes to Adults Social and Health Care as well as in depth knowledge of web accessibility issues and standards in relation to social care needs.
With excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills, you will need experience of project management with the ability to research, collate and analyse data and information. Substantial experience of developing and maintaining working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential, along with the ability to be proactive, self-managing, highly organised and prioritised.
