Salary: Scale 6; £27,978 pro rata
Hours: 9 hours per week Term Time Only (fixed term contract)
The federated Governing Body of Church Hill and Low Hall Nursery School (Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools) are seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to be based at Low Hall Nursery School.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our team. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to develop and provide high quality early childhood care for our children. The post requires a, responsible and assertive individual who has good organisational skills and the ability to develop exciting and varied activity programmes for children aged 4 – 8 years old.
You will have overall responsibility for the day to day operation and management of a term time After School Club. The post holder will be required to have Safeguarding responsibilities, organising staff rotas and promoting the club to new and existing users, liaising with senior teaching staff, administrative duties, maintaining records and report writing. You will have strong management skills and good knowledge of EYFS, ECM outcomes and Ofsted preparation.
The successful candidate will have a relevant level 3 or equivalent qualification as a minimum.
