Headlining our ambitious growth agenda is the Borough’s largest residential led mixed use development at Meridian Water where our aspiration is to deliver upwards of 10000 new homes and 6000 jobs. Alongside new public open spaces, shops, community facilities and a new railway station, this is a key opportunity to shape and deliver a landmark residential scheme within London.
Our ambitions don’t end there as we are already in early discussions on several major regeneration schemes across the Borough including proposals for Enfield Town, Brimsdown, Edmonton and Southgate to deliver new high-quality mixed use residential led development which meets the modern housing and employment needs of our residents
We need you to help us achieve this vision. Working alongside our new Place and Design Review Panel, this is an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to gain exceptional experience and make a real difference to the future lives of our residents.
You will play a pivotal role in progressing a number of key regeneration projects, with a focus on larger strategic / corporate schemes, successfully through the statutory development management process and delivering high quality outcomes. Excellent customer focus is essential as is your ability to manage these projects to agreed timescales and quality criteria. For this role you will need to be confident and effective in dealing with applicants and their agents, Councillors, residents and other key stakeholders.
Successful candidates will have acquired substantial practical experience within a development management environment with a strong track record project managing major regeneration projects through the planning process and achieving high quality outcomes. In addition, you will have a degree in Town and Country Planning and will have worked in development management at a local authority in the UK over a sustained period coupled with an in-depth knowledge of planning legislation.

Full Time - 36 hours a week - Happy to discuss part time opportunities.
£41,613 - £52,485 pa (this salary includes the current marker supplement of £2,667 pa)
Our Market Supplements are reviewed annually and are currently under review.
