I am pleased to bring to your attention a vacancy for an ICT Analyst within the IT & Digital Business Solutions Team. The team provide integrated IT support and development across Health & Adult Social Care, Families, Children & Learning and Housing Services.

Fixed term for: 12 months*

About the role

The Role

This role will primarily support Housing Services and will work very closely with the Housing Systems Programme Team as part of new exciting project developments. 

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and flexible professional with excellent IT knowledge who has the determination to make the most of this opportunity in our fast paced - but highly supportive - team environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience and/or a very good understanding of Housing services and associated business areas
  • Experience of IT system configuration, diagnosis of system errors and resolving problems
  • Experience of liaising with senior colleagues, other IT & Digital support teams and suppliers
  • Ability to lead on managing upgrades, changes, and modifications on a database system
  • Produced user and system level documentation
  • Experience of project involvement/management and associated methodologies such as Prince 2, Agile etc.

*Eligibility to Apply for Secondments

Permanent employees are eligible to apply for a secondment where they have:

held their current post for at least twelve months, obtained agreement from their line manager and have a defined development need that may be met through the secondment or there is a defined organisational need that will be met via the secondment

Temporary employees are not eligible to apply for vacancies on a secondment basis, but would be offered a standard fixed-term contract.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
