The Role

Are you looking for the next step? We have an amazing opportunity for someone to join our team in the position of Care Manager. Ideally you will be a Care/Snr Care Coordinator happy to work towards CQC Registration. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the care department with the emphasis on ensuring residents are fully catered for. The role will be based at our luxurious assisted living service in Lambeth, London. You will lead the care aspect of service delivery, driving high-quality care and hospitality with full support from your General Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Direct Management of the care team monitoring staff development through supervisions, appraisals, and training to assist them in delivering a high-quality service.
• Overseeing the referral process including assessments, move-in and settle-in of people into the scheme.
• Ensuring care assessments, care and risk planning meets best practice and customers aspirations.
• Creating, managing, and monitoring customer care plans, ensuring staff rotas meet residents’ needs and aspirations.

What You Will Need to Succeed

We are looking for someone who is able to lead from the from the front and believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly. The successful candidate will have:
• Knowledge of CQC standards and CQC Compliance.
• Ability to work towards CQC registration.
• Experience and knowledge of effective staffing and managing care hours.
• Experience / understanding of staff supervision, development and retention in a care and support setting.
• Understanding of Extra Care referral processes from initial enquiry to move-in and settle-In.
