PART TIME MIDDAY SUPERVISOR - LGA Scale 1/2 Point 1
This role would be from 11.30am until 1.00pm for five days a week.
An opportunity has arisen for a Midday Supervisor to join the team of our happy nurturing school, which is situated right in the heart of Brighton. This is a fixed term position until the 31st August 2021.

Paid weeks per year: 43.70 inclusive of holiday entitlement
Fixed term: to 31 August 2021
About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor with responsibility for helping children to build and maintain positive friendships and to be part of our committed, professional team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful person work with our team to supervise the children at lunchtimes. Previous experience of this kind of role would be an advantage. This role will include:
- Encouraging good manners and assisting children with their food where necessary
- Interacting with the children in outdoor play
- Supervising children in classrooms on wet days
- Working 1-1 with specific children if required to
The successful applicant will be part of a team of Midday Supervisors, working together to ensure that lunchtimes are healthy, safe and fun. You should be someone who enjoys being positive and encouraging children; who is kind, calm and patient; who is resilient and able to adapt quickly to changing situations.
The deadline for applications will be the 16 April at 3pm with successful candidates being invited for interview on week commencing the 19 April (dates to be confirmed upon our return from the Easter break). The role will commence from the 26 April 2021.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
