The role

We are recruiting for a Catering & Bar Assistant with a genuine passion for providing the highest levels of service and care.
Location: Millcroft, Wallingford
Salary: £10.75 per hour
Working Hours: 16 hours per week.
Shifts: X4 4 hour shifts per week. 10am-2pm and 9:30am-1:30pm on Thursdays when required.
Duties:
• To prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to required recipes
• Ensure residents’ orders are collected timely and all dietary requirements are taken into consideration
• To welcome customers and serve residents in a timely manner
• To ensure standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times
• To assist in the daily and weekly cleaning duties

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is
positive and friendly. The successful candidate will have:
• Experience of working in a busy kitchen/ service area
• Experience of providing excellent customer service
• Knowledge of health and safety in a cooking/kitchen environment
• Good written and spoken English
• Previous experience in a care home setting and working with vulnerable people (desirable)
• Level 2 food safety certificate (desirable)
