About the role
Our Educational Psychologist positions offer a competitive salary from Soulbury Scale A, point 5-8, plus the opportunity to progress through three SPA (Structured Professional Assessment) points.
Hillingdon's Educational Psychology Service (EPS) have recently reviewed their service offer with an aim to further improve and develop the model of service delivery offered to the Hillingdon community. Hillingdon are seeking a motivated, innovative, and appropriately experienced individual to undertake an Educational Psychologist (EP) role.
You will work collaboratively with schools, early years' providers, colleges and other educational settings, as well as a range of professionals and agencies, to help every child and young person to succeed as an effective learner. You will have the opportunity to work within the service across all settings and age groups from 0-25 years.
About you
We are looking for a creative, flexible and experienced Educational Psychologist who is committed to supporting the inclusion of vulnerable children and young people.
Alongside your degree in Psychology, you will have knowledge of relevant and current legislation, including the SEND Code of Practice and the Children and Families Act. You will also have an ability to assess individual children and young people and experience of working at various levels with both individuals and groups, and at a school system level.
Effective communications skills are also vital, including an ability to write accurate and detailed reports.
