Royal Greenwich Early Help Division is an exciting place to work.
We are looking for four full time and one part time Youth and Family Practitioners (REC-21-00189) to provide a high quality, effective and responsive service for children, young people and families with multiple needs with the key goal of helping them to build resilience and achieve and sustain improved outcomes.
You will be a highly skilled and experienced practitioner and be able to work in a systemic model, collaboratively with families, taking responsibility and reflecting on practice with colleagues. You will have the ability to build and sustain relationships with children, young people, parents/carers, families and other professionals and will be able to reflect, challenge and change and/or test your hypothesis in the face of conflicting evidence.
An understanding of effective and impactful practice, child and adolescent development, families and wider systems as well the importance of peer influence and environmental factors is very important in this role. You will be an excellent team player but be able to work independently, creatively, and flexibly in order to deliver positive and effective outcomes.
The Early Help Division promotes an organisational learning culture and strives to find innovative ways of engaging and facilitating change with children young people and their families. Our service seeks to actively contribute to organisational learning through recognising, promoting and supporting best practice and service development where required, retaining a clear focus upon positive good outcomes for children, young people and families across the borough.

Please note that this role will require you to work anywhere within the Borough of Greenwich including in family homes, Schools, Children's Centres or other community settings and some out of hours work is also expected.

The Interview dates for the Youth and Family Practitioners will be Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th May and will be a Presentation/Test plus interview.
