We are now seeking to appoint a new Senior Rehabilitation Engineer/ Clinical Scientist who will continue to drive our service forward and embed our systemic practice model across the service, underpinning high quality practice.
You will champion the needs of patients across the Borough, ensuring practice and performance is robust. Delivering the highest level of clinical excellence.
You will of course be joining Croydon at a particularly challenging time – from the Section 114 to the pandemic. This is a job for an ambitious and resilient therapist to share our determination to continue the sterling work in reducing inequalities and providing a high quality service
We are seeking a talented and highly skilled individual that can join us in developing the wheelchair service of the Community Equipment Service (CES).
You will assist in developing the service through clinical supervision, ongoing review of clinical practices and implementation of evidence-based and best practice.
You will provide technical, clinical and therapeutic input to Croydon Wheelchair Service.
The Community Equipment Service provides a vital service to residents, enabling them to maintain their independence at home. Through commercial contract partnerships with other local authorities we enable over 100,000 deliveries a year of essential pieces of health and social care related equipment. We are proud of our track record in delivering innovative commercial solutions which provide cost savings to eight local authorities, enabling resources to go further.
The successful applicant will need to be a State registered of Clinical Technology Registered or Health and Care Professional Council Registered.
The post holder will also need to demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to effectively manage a range of internal and external stakeholders related to clinical matters. This includes service users, professionals and commercial suppliers.
