£43,860 - £46,839 per annum (plus £5K market supplement)
ABOUT US
There has never been a more exciting time to grow and develop as a Senior Social Worker at Newham, and whilst the last 12 months have difficult for many we have not allowed challenging times to disrupt our programme of improvement and have continued driving towards our target of becoming a centre of excellence for children’s social care by 2023.
Senior Social Workers at Newham can now look to a Social Care Academy, an expanded QA service, and a team of Family Therapists to support their practice and enrich their learning. Senior Social Workers can also expect significant support to help them achieve personal career goals. These changes are a small part of the positive impact that our permanent, stable senior leadership team are making, which was recognised in our recent Ofsted visit. Newham is moving in the right direction.
Ofsted also acknowledged our fast and effective response to the covid-19 crisis. Our social workers have been able to practise safely and effectively throughout 2020, and we continue to adapt to the ‘new normal’ to ensure both staff and our young people remain safe. We will continue to put people at the heart of everything we do into 2021 and beyond.
Joining Newham as we continue with our improvement journey will be an invaluable experience and look great on any Senior Social Worker’s CV. Apply now, and be part of our success.
